2020年4月27日，Nature Communications发表了加州大学（University of California, Riverside）Juan Pablo Giraldo教授实验室题为“Targeted delivery of nanomaterials with chemical cargoes in plants enabled by a biorecognition motif”的研究论文。该研究设计开发了一种纳米新工具，可把化学物质精准地递送至叶绿体。
