Postdoctoral Position Available

A full-time postdoctoral position in plant biochemistry and molecular genetics is available in the Waksman Institute of Microbiology at Rutgers University. The successful candidate will investigate the signaling pathways and cellular processes that are involved in polarity establishment and stem cell specification during stomatal asymmetric cell division in Arabidopsis. Applicants should have a PhD degree in plant genetics, cell/molecular biology, or a related discipline. Familiarity with biochemical kinase assays and proteomic approaches to identify new protein components is highly desirable. The successful candidate must be very well self-motivated and organized, have excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues.
