The Institute of Plant Physiology & Ecology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Shanghai) is seeking a qualified individual to fill an Associate Professor position in the new Chinese Academy of Sciences International Visiting Professor laboratory of Julian Schroeder at the SIPPE-CAS in Shanghai. The successful candidate will work as a Co-PI with Dr. Julian Schroeder to pursue and run projects and supervise Ph.D students. Applicants must hold a Ph.D degree and have in-depth strong expertise in plant genetics, genomics, plant transformation, signal transduction, molecular biology and/or electrophysiology with a strong publication record, very good communication skills in English, and preferably with at least two years international postdoctoral experience abroad. The applicant will also work with and communicate with Prof. Schroeder’s laboratory at UC San Diego.
