Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Associate or Full Professor

Molecular Plant (http://mplant.oxfordjournals.org/) is a recently founded top-tier international journal in plant biology. The Molecular Plant Shanghai office is seeking a full-time Deputy Editor-in-Chief.

The candidate will work full-time in the editorial office located in Shanghai, China, and will coordinate with the Editor-in-Chief and the managing editor to oversee manuscript review and make the first decision for manuscript reviewing. The candidate will be also expected to assist the Editor-in-Chief to recruit high-quality papers and increase the impact of the journal.

The candidate should have a background in plant biology or related fields with a Ph.D. degree, extensive experience in preparing research manuscripts, strong publication record in English journals, and a responsible and collaborative personality. The candidates must have excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese. Prior experience in scientific editing is a plus but not required.
