The Award is granted to the young talents in the science and technology field who have made any great breakthrough in basic research, accomplished any original innovation, or achieved any breakthrough progress in the industrialization of key plant science program, and whose scientific achievement reaches to the domestically leading level or international level.
The Award is granted annually to no more than five winners with a prize of RMB16,000 each.
The “Sanan Sino-Science Award for Outstanding Contribution to Photobiology” is created and exclusively funded by Fujian Sanan Sino-Science Photobiotech Co., Ltd to drive the transfer and transformation of photobiology achievements in an all-round way, engage in the research of photobiology industrialization in the domain of national economy for satisfying national needs, stimulate and put forward the industrialization and innovation of plant photobiology in China.
The Award is granted to the talents in the science and technology field who has made any great breakthrough in the research of plant photobiology, accomplished any original innovation, or achieved any breakthrough progress in the industrialization of key plant photobiology program.
The Award is granted biennially to one winner with a prize of RMBR50,000.
To encourage the women scientists of plant biology to participate in the scientific research, teaching, and science popularization activities, and introduce them to the world, the “Award for Outstanding Young Women” is created and exclusively funded by Syngenta Biotech (China) Co., Ltd. The Award is granted annually to 10 winners with a prize of RMB2,300 each.
The awards are granted with a prize of RMB1,000-3,000 each at the meetings including the Annual Conference of Chinese Society for Plant Biology, the National Congress of Plant Biology, International Conference on Plant Metabolism, and the Plant Photobiology Conference.
